Isabella makes Rocket Jealous

Tonight Isabella decided she was going to sit with me for a little while. Of course, baby Rocket was not too keen on the idea of sharing his Mommy with his big sister.

Der Freischutz

Tonight, I went to a nice dinner with friends from work at a little local seafood place near the office called the "Black Pelican."  

After, we headed to Norfolk for an evening of culture at the Harrison Opera House to see the final show of the Magic Marksman, or Der Freischutz by Weber. I'm always enamored at the art deco atmosphere that just makes me nostalgic for a time I never knew.

I was surprised that it was in English. I was really ready for some fine German opera! It was still lovely. I loved the sets! This was a wonderful opera and I truly enjoyed the rendition that the Virginia Opera took. Excellent job!

Happy Birthday Rocket

Happy 1st Birthday Rocket J. Wiggs. 

I can't believe you're already a year old.  What is Rocket's life all about? 

Well, that's easy! He's the sweetest little guy a girl could ask for! He's the definition of a lap-cat and loves to sit in our laps and go to sleep. When he falls asleep, his body temp goes up to about 250 degrees! 

He loves food. Any food. ALL FOOD. Anytime anyone has food in his sight, he will attempt to get their attention with a gently-placed paw on their lap of leg.

Rocket has one Mantra... No one poops alone! If anyone heads to the restroom, he RUNS to beat you so he can climb either into the bathtub or the shower.

I am glad he's in my life!

Jinx

This guy! I saw his sitting on his perch this morning and had to snap a picture. He's absolutely majestic! I love this boy! He's 3 years and 10 months old. He'll be 4 on the 26th of March.

Sweet Faces

Since it snowed it's ass off Friday and Saturday, I worked from home today. It's definitely hard to work with such adorable faces trying to help me on the desk! That, and my bear slippers!

The 4 Bears

It snowed Friday night. Jinx begged to go out at the back door. He got to go outside for a minute. Baby Dexter was highly satisfied just sitting by the back door and looking at the snow!

I love this boy! 

 I also love this girl and this other boy!

New Years Day

The morning started with a little lap cuddle from Dexter Morgan. He had a rough night of staying up late and maybe nit the catnip a little too hard. He's such a good baby! Jinx was also a little tired. He put himself in the highest cat tower and was looking pretty adorable!!

Dexter Morgan is 1 year and 6 months old

Jinx is 3 years and 9 months old.

 I also started a new project last night. It's got a few more days before it's good to go, but she's close!! Baby Rocket was hanging out with the 3-D printed pieces of R2-D2 in the guest room.

Rocket J. is 11 months old.

Jinx and Rocket have taken some time to become real buddies, but I think we are just about there!

Poor Baby Izzy

Isabella Sophia was not feeling very well when we got home from Williamsburg tonight.
We decided to go ahead and take her to the emergency Vet.

Bay Beach Veterinary Clinic

Isabella is not what you would call a "hold me" type of little girl. This was basically how she was for ALMOST  THREE HOURS!
She cuddled between my arms and Terry's arms until they could call her to the back. She had 104.7 temperature. She was dehydrated. Looks like she had a little bit of  Pancreatitis.

Drugs and orders for REST and FOOD. She had me VERY WORRIED!! As much as she thinks THAT WE are JUST HER asshole roommates from whom she STEALS FOOD

We do love her!!

Williamsburg Trip

Started the morning with a trip to the Williamsburg Winery for a tour and tasting!
