Goodnight Boomer

Tonight was a difficult night. We lost out big boy Boomer. There was nothing that we could have done. It was a pulmonary embolism from heart disease. He was about to be 8 years old next month. I will miss him more than words can describe.

Boomer

Tonight, Boomer was especially cuddly with Terry. He was curled up on Terry's lap and fell asleep. When he woke up, there was a drool spot on Terry's lap.

Rec Time

We let the bears out in the back yard today for a little while.

Poor Ginger Bear

My baby boy Boomer was not feeling great this week. He's had a nasty fever and a pretty tough cold. He had to go back in for a check up and he was not at all thrilled to have to go. He was a champ though, no crying. He hissed a little when they took blood, but he was awesome.

Brotherly Love

I love these two boys! Boomer and Dexter are near inseparable. Boomer loves his little brother so much and I know baby Dexter loves him. There's not a time when they are sleeping when Dexxy does not cuddle up to him or vice versa. 

Baby Beds

We went to Ikea today and we bought the kids two baby doll beds. It was about five minutes after they came out of the box before these two were already taking a little siesta. Boomer will be 8 in about 2 months and he is always looking for somewhere to get a good sleep! Baby Dexter is really learning a lot from him! These two are a pair!

My Boys

I love these two bears! Boomer will be 8 in May and Dexter is just past 8 months old. They love to cuddle as much as possible. I think Boomer just likes having some little baby kitty to curl up with!

Ginger Babies

These two! I never really know exactly what I will see! Boomer decided that the best place that he could find to sleep on ALL of the soft surfaces in the living room, was Terry's BOOT!

Dexxy and the Boomer

Dexxy was sitting in the back window watching the birds outside. He was so pretty sitting there watching. Such a good little guy!

Boomer fell asleep on a pillow on the couch. He was so sweet laying there!

Our Lazy House

We enjoyed a lazy Saturday and pretty much sat around and did nothing!!

My Boys

These three! They do love to cuddle. Jinx is definitely getting used to having Baby Dexter around and he's allowing more cuddle time with the little one.  Boomer just wants to clean everyone!!

Just a Monday Afternoon

First, Dexter fell asleep in my arms and I thought he'd be more comfortable laying in his baby bed. I put him over there and and he came running back. Love this baby!

Later in the afternoon, Boomer and Dexter were giving each other some lovely cuddles.

Jinx and Dexter played with the iPad and the Friskies fishing game.

Final for the evening, Dexter got sleepy again and wanted his Mommy.

I looked over at the couch and there was Isabella, Boomer and Dexter. All knocked out. This was just too much for words! I love how they have accepted Dexter so well!

Home Improvement

The kids definitely feel at home in the new place. Dexter especially, loves just laying around, like his big brother Boomer.
