Playing Catch

In the last few years, I have been teaching Boomer how to sit, stay, and catch. For a cat, he's doing pretty well. Jinx on the other hand, is not really quite there. He's seen in the first video below thwarting Boomer's attempt to show Mommy how to catch.

Here, Boomer completed the catch and Jinx misses.... :)

It Snowed!

So, apparently it snowed last night! Woke up this morning and the weatherman was correct! 3-4 inches of snow! Of course, I was late to work, but so was everyone else!

Jinxie was the only one who dared to venture outside. This was his first snow and he was super impressed. He immediately got out there and walked around. Slow at first, but them really enjoying the weather!

So, our evening ended tonight with Jinx and his need to take out with my nail file. Anytime he sees one, he just HAS TO HAVE IT!!! He's a special boy!

Jinx Vs. Dinner

Jinx has a box. It's a duck-taped multiple times Coke Zero box that he loves ti sit in while he's in the kitchen. This day was special. He was trying to finish his dinner, but didn't want to get out of the box.

My Kids

I purchased Spot a heated blanket to "warm up his old bones" but he could barely get to it because the other two decided to hog the silly thing! I ended up making a better place for them all to share the blanket. Seems to work!

Jinx on the top bunk of the kitty condo. He is as pretty as they get!

New Years Babies

Spot and Jinx were amused by a few friends they made at the dining room window this morning. There were a few squirrels hanging out looking for food.. (I tossed a handful of seeds to help them out!)

Sometimes they are just too cute for words. Jinxie was sleeping on the blanket on the couch while I was watching television and Boomer popped up on cuddles in with him. A few minutes later, This is what happened. They are so adorable!

Jinxie loves his Mommy. He fell asleep on my arms and it was way too cute not to take a little video.

Jinx and yarn.. Gotta be careful with this little guy. He cannot pass up a chance to play with some yarn, even if Mommy needs it to finish a project!

A little later in the day, Jinxie was watching Grandpa repair a spot on the ceiling and decided that he wanted to play fetch. Obvious results. He's a ham!

Happy New Years Eve!

My New Years celebration was hanging out with my little boys and catching up on some much needed wine. Jinx was up first in the morning with helping Mommy do some crafting. I'm making Terry a blanket, so he thought it would be fun to run off with my yarn!

Then I took the last "selfie" of the year to send to Terry:)

Jinx had some more "play time" in the kitchen with an empty 20 pack of Coke Zero. That boy sure does love boxes. I almost hate to throw them out!

A little late in the evening, I got out a few bottles of my favorites to ring in the new year...

Just a few minutes away from midnight and these two are already passed out. Really passed out!
