Oliver Day 2

Little Old Oliver is taking his sweet time settling in.  

He spent the best part of the evening either on my lap or in the middle cubby of the cat tree.

Ollie's First Day

Well he's here! We expedited the paperwork and got him home. He's a LOT skittish and is really going to be a baby for a while. He's decided to camp on the kitty condo. I brought him to the couch and he'll sit with me on a blanket.

He's decided to cuddle with me for a while before we go to bed. He's a cuddle monster!

And we ended the night with him sprawled next to me.

It's a B O Y! Welcome to the family

I know, it's a mouthful, but he's definitely going to need a strong name. He's currently at his faster Mom's house and will come home with us in a few days. Funny though, his foster mom was also Dexter Morgan's foster mom a few years ago A N D his birthday is 17 September which was Teddy's birthday and he looks a hell of a lot like Boomer. He belongs with me!

This is where he was sleeping when I was trying to get ready. It's not new. It's every day.

Yep, that's Snow

For once, they were right. There was about 3 feet of snow and in a few places, more than that. There was no way I was going to make it into the office with all of this snow. 

 Even the barbecue grill was COVERED in snow!

 And what do we do when we're stuck in the house... Cat pics and Snapchat Selfies!

And so it's begun..

Here we go. There's only a dusting tonight. I hear that there will be a few feet by the time I wake up. We shall see.

Book Flowers

Two of the boys were helping me make some book flowers. Yes, I destroyed a book to make these. But in my defense, the book was a thrift store adult fiction novel. If you look closely at the flowers, you will see some pretty inappropriate words, which is MY FAVORITE part of the whole process

Use the Force, Dex

Let me set the scene.

Dex loves this orange skinny ball toy that Rennie bought them about 6-7 years ago for Boomer when B was a little kitten. It's been around for a lot of kitty-babies. Dexter lays down on the floor in the office just out of reach of his toy. Realizes his mistake and stretches his hands out.

 Well, that's not working, so he stretches just a little bit more. Not quite there. Ma, can you push this over for me? Of course, I comply.

 Well, now that he can reach it, He's in cat heaven!

Sweet Rocket

This boys is the most special of baby bears. He was laying down in his baby bed with his blanket and I had to snap a few pics and videos. By the way, the "blanket" was a scarf that I never finished and it became the cats blanket for there mini IKEA baby bed.
