A New Car!

Traded in the Prius today for a new Volt. Yes, folks, that means we have TWO Volts!

Rocket's First Vet Visit

Rocket met the people at Abbey Animal Hospital today. He loved everyone that he met. Rachel at the front desk gave him cuddles before he went to the back.

 Who falls asleep at the vet? Apparently he does! (Just like his brother Dexter!)

These Boys!

 Tonight, baby Rocket learned a few things about his new home. First, Daddy's lap is one of the best place to sleep in the house....

And that the cat tree is one of the best places to hide in the house.

Baby Dexter got himself between a rock and a hard place tonight. He stuck his head in between the tunnels and got stuck. He managed to wriggle himself out, but the sight of it was funny to say the least! I love this boy!

Today is the Best Day

I took the day off to hang out with the new guy to make sure he got situated in his new home. He finally sat still after a long night. He slept pretty much through the night, but we woke up with each noise! He's such a sweet guy!!

The sleepy little guy hung out on the couch with me until he passed out.

Welcome Home Rocket!

We were finally able to pick up little Rocket from the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center after work today! He was excited and purred so much, but he was very timid about coming out of the carrier.

He came out for a second when we got to the driveway and gave me a quick cuddle.

Then he hung out with me on the couch!!

Then he met his big brother Dexter...

And then he found the Star Wars stuff..

He ended his first night in the house with some kisses from his new Mommy!

He Has my Heart

I don't know of any other way to describe how much I love this little boy. He's such an amazing little guy and sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am to have him in my life. When I first saw him in the cage, he was such an unassuming little guy, all quiet and in the corner of the cat cage at the Animal Care and Adoption Center of Virginia Beach. How could I pass him by!?!?  I took him out of the cage and put him on the floor. He was so small! The first thing he did was go to one of the bigger cages and reach in to steal a toy. I loved him from that moment.

My Kids are Not Normal

Baby Dexter decided to bring Darth Vader a bunch of his toys to the statue of Darth Vader in the living room this morning. This boy is definitely something special!

Dexxy is 11 Months old.

Later in the afternoon, Big Jinx was just being Jinx! Jinx is 3 years and 1 month old!

And later still, the kids were in the backyard playing and being adorable. Isabella joined!

Isabella is 1 year and 9 months old.

It's a Boy, again!

This guy! We'll nice we lost big Boomer last month, we really have been talking about bringing a new baby bear into the family. We knew we needed to find the right one and we met him tonight. This is baby Rocket. He's just at 3 months, born 29 January 2016. He was adopted from the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center tonight. We can pick him up on Monday!! We're very excited to bring him into this crazy family!!
