Tempio Pausania, Sardinia, Italy
Tempio Pausania lies in the shadow of Mount Limbara on the island of Sardinia.
Just before you arrive in the main streets of town there is a little area with the ruins of Giudice Nino Visconti di Gallura built about 1200 CE. There is also a public spring water fountain.

Morning Walk
It was the morning before my birthday, so my friend and I took a break from the morning with a coffee and a croissant at Guido's, the cafe that was closest to the port. Their English was far better than the other bars in the area since this was where most of the sailors came before and after work.
A quick stop over at the open market area. It's winter, so there is not much to look at today.
Via Nazionale is the main street that goes down through the city. Most of the shops line both sides and a few others line a couple of side streets.
Walked a little further down Via Nazionale and got to two of the most utilized places in Palau for us. Pane e Dolci {Breads and Sweets} and the Rosticeria {Italian Fast Food}. There is a little alley that goes from the rosticeria to Via Cavour, where I live... Via Incrociatore Trieste.
Walking down Via Incrociatore Trieste, the first street that you come to is Via Regina Margherita and the nest one is Via Divisione Folgore. That's where we would turn to go to my house. One street down is Via Cavour.. That's me.
Went back towards the port and hopped on the ferry boat to go to La Maadalena. (50 Euro Cents for a round trip ticket for a resident who is walking. 5 Times that for a tourist! I learned how to say that I was a local as quickly as possible!)
Rode back and took a few shots along the way. The first is the ferry station. Then a photo of the outside of Guido's and the Agip and Esso, our two gas stations in Palau.
I love this place.
